A Little About Me

First of all my name is Dave Robinson

I have been gardening in various ways since i left school in 1981,
but long long before that i used to "help" my dad in his garden and up
at his allotment (where i was very proud to look after "my little patch")

I started work straight from school for a contract gardener, where we
had a regular routine and list of clients we would visit either weekly,
fortnightly or monthly doing whatever the garden or the season
required, quite often these where larger houses so i the chance to
experience herbacious borders, shrubberies, herb gardens, rose
gardens, greenhouses, ponds, hedges, veg gardens and of course
the obligitory lawns (acres and acres of lawns). 

  After 4 years i was offered a private service position (one garden
year round) again with a larger house, so my experience
continued to grow as i learnt the plants and shrubs that i was
tending to and also i had the opportunity to do some one off projects.

After several years i moved on from there into another private service
garden which was mainly veg gardening and plenty of hedges
(oh yea and lots of lawns).

 After a few more years experience there i decided to  go self employed.

Since being self employed i have worked closely with landscape
gardeners, learning hard landscaping, and tree surgeons which
encouraged me to obtain my chainsaw licence's,
CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39, CS40, and as this was mainly project
work i needed to get my spraying licence's PA1, PA6

As you may be able to tell from my experience i have covered many
aspects  of gardening over the years, but i still prefer the more
common gardening tasks - mowing, pruning, weeding, hedges etc

 I am fully Insured with Public Liability for Both Tree work and Gardening
